  12. My AMAX has great difficulties reading the disks in the HD-drive that I
  13. have in DF0:
  14.  
  15. I bought the HD drive for my B2000 when failing to find MacOS 7.x on DD
  16. disks. After much hassle I finally managed to boot from the install
  17. disk and install a system on my dedicated hard disk.
  18.  
  19. However it seems impossible to get the Mac to read/recognize any disks
  20. when booted from the harddisk. It spins the disk a while and then says
  21. "Unreadable, want to format?"
  22.  
  23. I have tried various tricks:
  24.     - mounting CrossMac demo
  25.     - removing MFM handling of CrossDOS for DFx:
  26.     - removing and re-inserting the disks while it tries
  27.         to read it
  28.  
  29. No luck. It doesn't even show a symbol for it if a non-bootable
  30. Mac-disk is in the drive when starting.

  32. Help! Or at least sympathy...
